On Thursday April 3, 2008, local restaurants, cafes and delis will support services for survivors of rape and sexual assault. More than twenty five participating businesses will donate a portion of that day's proceeds to San Francisco Women Against Rape (SFWAR). Proceeds will directly support necessary services including legal advocacy, teen education, counseling services and a 24-hour crisis hotline. San Francisco Women Against Rape is the primary rape crisis center in the city, which was established in 1973. They provide support to survivors of sexual assault and their friends and families. It's getting down to the wire with 18 more restaurants until we hit the 1000th restaurant. We're going to try and make it extra special. I think we will be hitting it around April time frame. I'll be on vacation for the next week and be returning March 10th. Not sure what Terry has up his sleeve for upcoming restaurants. Keep supporting your local restaurants.

We've been frequenting the Fair Oaks Plaza shopping center in Sunnyvale lately. This has got to be one of the most populated restaurant shopping centers. I think there's 10 restaurants in this one area. They have 2 Mexican spots, San Salvadorian, Japanese, Vietnamese, Filipino, Bakery, Thai, Pizza, and Armenian. We've made a goal to review the entire shopping center. Wish us luck.

I bought Terry 2 lunches last week and figured the only appropriate thing to do is eat at a sushi place. We ate at Sushi Kazoo in Campbell. I've been to J-Town and Campbell location before so I knew beforehand what we were getting ourselves into. We had a pack crew and everyone seemed to enjoy the value priced meals. On the way out, we spotted a Dolphin Gray modded Audi A4 Avant. I wanted to puke... lowered car with a 2 finger gap, 19-20 Lorinsers, exhaust, black roof rails, and clean even in the slight drizzle. Damm you and your sick car. I think we work at the same company and commute on the 280 not that I'm stalking you or anything.

After nearly a month of inactivity (we have been very busy) we are back in the saddle with Curry House in Cupertino. We felt awkward and out of practice, excuse any blurry photos. :)

Time flies when you're busy and on vacation. I can't believe it's been almost a month since we've posted anything on jatbar. We've been eating a lot of places, just not new ones. When things settle down after Macworld, we'll hopefully post our favorite restaurants of 2007.
